Why Everyone's Belief About God Cannot Be True

Many sincere and good people, who have varying beliefs about God, have the right to believe whatever they want. However, everyone's belief cannot be true when it comes to God's existence and identity. This is not uncaring or intolerant; it's simply, as we have just reviewed how truth works. If truth could contradict itself, a Christian and an Atheist would both be correct about God's existence and we know this is impossible.

Suppose you were a detective and six people showed up (an Atheist, Buddhist, Muslim, Mormon, Hindu and Christian) with different stories claiming to be the sole heir of a tremendous fortune. Could they all be telling the truth? No, you would immediately recognize the obvious problem, six people claiming to be the sole heir is a contradiction and could not possibly be true.

Therefore you would check out their stories and follow the evidence to uncover the truth. At some point their explanations would be contradictory to the facts in your investigation. Once you discover who the actual heir is, you would know for certain that the other five claims were false, no matter how close to the truth they appeared.

When it comes to God we have a similar situation. Many people have shown up and claim to know the truth about God. On the surface it may seem like most of them are headed in the same direction. But when we look closer, we see that they all contradict each other when it comes to the most important points, like salvation. Christianity is the sole belief that teaches salvation by God's grace, through faith alone. The others teach works (good deeds) and specific conditions as a necessity. Both can't be right.

"Gravity, True For You But Not For Me" by Author Michael Edwards is quite a powerful mini-book that packs the punch, "Big surprises come in little packages," which is an understatement. Perfect for evangelism and originally an e-book, this book addresses every possible question or doubt about Christianity by combining facts, evidence and the truth with biblical principles. This book has the reader examine what is truth, does God exist, can we trust the Bible, did the resurrection really happen, and who did Jesus claim to be. Then by giving a twelve-point conclusion the author ends the journey with a pathway to salvation. Keep several copies of this one in your car, you'll want to hand them out to everyone you meet!

The author states in his opening paragraph of the book, "It's not about religion, it's about truth." The author goes on to explain his purpose for writing the book being that the, "…objective evidence must be considered in order to make an informed decision." Otherwise believing something because your parents believe it, relying on emotions or believing something to be true because you believe it to be true does not make it true; this is called "blind faith," as the author emphatically states. "Triumph Through Trial, A Story of Renewal" by award winning Christian author Theresa Franklin is an endearing story of the Owens family who went from discord, contention and strife to a new life full of renewal and triumph. Romans 8:28 states (NIV), "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." We can rest assured that even though there are trials, tragedies and hardships in life, if we live our life according to God's plans and purposes, He will work everything out in our life for good. Get ready to sit down, relax and enjoy this beautifully written book full of hope, encouragement and faith through the story of one family that overcame life's adversities through oneness in Christ.

Author, Theresa Franklin does a wonderful job in administering to the heart of families and encouraging families to stick together in love through this fictional short story. We all know what our lives look from the outside. But when we examine our family life from the inside, more than we like to admit, one will find dysfunction in the home. When we come to a place of acknowledging our sins and confessing them to God, God can work on our behalf. The author asks these important questions and urges us all to spend, "…time in front of God's mirror and try to see what those who know you best actually see? Are you a Christian? Have you accepted Christ as your savior?" In that, the author is asking, are you walking the walk and talking the talk? So many people profess to be Christians, but as Christians we should be exhibiting love, respect and service to our families in the home as well. If not, this book will lead the way to a new path of wholeness in Christ for families.

Driven by emotions, control, negativity, judgment and perfectionism, Cynthia is in complete denial of her behavior towards her family members. Severely affected, the husband is miserable, and her children avoid her as much as possible. Inevitably when there is dysfunction in the home, the author states, the stress can be measured in emotional and physical illnesses. Although the book is a fictional story, the author has described a very real and believable picture of how life is in our own families sometimes. The Owens family is torn from the inside out, due to stresses from the contention and discord caused by one family member suffering from deep emotional wounds caused from her own dysfunctional childhood.

This book is truly a blessing to families and the body of Christ. The author, through the use of scriptures and examples of family life, paints a wonderful picture of how life can be through the love and redemption of Jesus Christ. The author promotes family in this story of healing and encourages others, that "…love covereth a multitude of sins." Families will find solace and comfort through this book. Theresa's Franklin's writing style flows smoothly making for an easy read, keeping the reader fully engaged. This book will minister to all families that are "less than perfect." A highly recommend, encouraging read that will impact others for Christ. God can work in any situation, as the author illustrates, even the impossible ones.

From Sinking Sand is an extraordinary book by Author Marsha Lenski testifying to her moral failure in the form of an adulterous affair. Marsha has been featured on "Life Today" with James and Betty Robison and CBN's 700 Club with her amazing testimony. Her story is a familiar one; at the time, she had no idea the ripple effect her adulterous affair would have in her life, nor that her moral failure would ever be discovered. What makes this book so extraordinary is that the author is brazenly honest and surprisingly transparent as she takes the reader back to her time of playing with the fire of adultery. Not only did she get burned in the process, being reduced to a pile of ashes, but her husband, her children, her close friends and family, extended friends and even acquaintances all learned that no one can play with fire and not get burned. Not only was her life forever changed, but also that of everyone she knew.

This book is a wake-up call to all who might consider adultery as some light thing. The author also reiterates the obvious truth of why God hates divorce; there is always destruction involved.

But there is hope, that hope is found in a loving Savior who died for our sins. The promise of that covenant is written in blood-His own blood for eternity. It doesn't matter how deep of a pit you might be in or what your condition might be, no sin is too great and it's never to late to turn to Jesus Christ as your Savior. This book lovingly testifies to the great love, mercy and grace of God and how, when you surrender your life to the Lord how He can turn your life around for the good.

Chris, early in his freshman year of college, started coming down with strange symptoms that the doctor's could not diagnose. Shortly after a visit to another doctor that summer break, while at home, the author re-tells the story of how he realized that he did actually have MS when his father broke him out of his denial by telling him, "You have MS." At such a tender age, only a freshman in college, Chris had realized that his life had forever changed.

Until then Chris had high hopes for his life and this story is an example of how one man's life has been interrupted and dramatically changed by the disease known as MS. The author in his book illustrates that dealing with a chronic illness can not only disrupt one's life, but also can become a chronic issue in a marriage. The author takes a hard look at what attitudes and actions can affect one with a chronic illness, while shedding light on what it can do to a marriage.

The author candidly describes situations, circumstances, and actions that arose within his own marriage, that caused misery to his spouse and eventually ended in the divorce of a marriage that everyone thought would never end. The author humbly admits that many actions were of his own doing. The author whole-heartedly writes about his own "poor me attitude" and openly shares his thoughts, emotions and reactions in his own life due to MS. I find this book to be so earnestly honest and refreshing, in that, the author does not hold back in an attempt to save face. This work from the author does a superb job of capturing the confusion, loss, anger, and frustration that a person can go through while fighting a chronic illness. Thank you Chris for sharing your struggles with us.

The author's purpose in writing this book is to help others dealing with chronic illness and how their attitude towards their spouse can be destroying their marriage or relationships. This book gives the reader a pro-active approach and helps them identify their own behavior as positive or negative. This book will encourage anyone, chronic illness or not, to consider their own relationships and shares how to deal with poor attitudes and actions pro-actively before it grows like a cancer and destroys a marriage or relationship.

Several vitally important key techniques characterize the book; one being that open communication is a must between spouses and especially to a couple dealing with a chronic illness. The author illustrates that recognizing the other's need just as much as the disabled person can be a marriage saver. The author so humbly admits that, "It's Not All About Me." This book will encourage you to open up to your spouse and give you the knowledge of how to go about communication in your marriage when dealing with chronic illness.

The author continues to make a profound statement in that, "Awareness of, and providing attention to, your relationship-destroying actions are the keys to saving your relationship." (P.79) Whatever your situation may be, we can all learn from our own mistakes and the mistakes of others. If we were to think about the above quote and put it into motion into our own lives, just think of how many relationships could be saved. This book will impact your life on a highly positive level.

This well written book offers encouragement to any who are dealing with a chronic illness or who might have a loved one affected by any disease. Life is not easy, especially when dealing with the roller coaster ride of a day-to-day illness. You will find out that you are not alone and there is hope beyond a chronic illness.

"Life Interrupted, It's Not All About Me" is a recommended must read for anyone with a chronic illness. Kudos to you Chris for writing this heart rendering and honest memoir! As one with a chronic illness myself, you caused me to look at my own reactions to my loved ones. This book will open your eyes to see any damaging behavior in your own life and give you the courage to do something about it. I find this book profound in that it is a gentle nudge (or rather gentle slap in the face) to others to look at their own actions in their lives and remember, "It's Not All About Me."

There are about as many definitions of Divine Grace as there are Christians. However, according to God's own word, there is only one, and that one solely defines who He is. It is embedded in His character, in His nature and above all, it is in His disposition to show His graciousness and loving kindness toward all of humanity. It is His Nature to love mankind in the same manner as He loved His first creation Adam. The original creation was corrupted by the first act of disobedience in the heavens – then by man. But God's love for His creation ran so deep in His heart that when the relationship between Himself and His creation was broken, He forgave us and reconciled it alone by becoming flesh, bound it by the crucifixion and death of His only begotten Son, and then sealed it with His own Spirit by the resurrection of Christ. By this sole act completed one hundred percent by Christ, humanity now has the unmerited privilege of living in a new age – the Age of Divine Grace.

When I read the words that God spoke to Jeremiah about putting His law within them and on their hearts, it brings to mind this definition of marriage that someone once presented to me: "Marriage is a bonding of two souls by the spirit of love. Together their love brings forth a power that one does not have alone. If the marriage is bound by the written law, then it binds but does not bond; but if it is bound by the law that is written on the tablet of your heart, then it bonds but does not bind. Know that law and you will need no other law." The Old Testament believers were bound by the written law, and because of it, I can understand why it was so difficult for them to bond with God. The Hebrew word for law is towrah and is defined to mean "a body of legal instructions." If I think of this in terms of a marriage, then this tells me that it becomes a marriage that is bound by the written law as opposed to a marriage that is bound by the heart.

How incredibly fortunate we can count ourselves to be as we live in an age where in God's own character, His disposition is to show loving kindness toward all of mankind. We are now free – free to be loved by God – to love Him back freely, and to give to and receive love from each other as brothers and sisters in the body of Christ without having a body of legal instructions and penance to follow, and more importantly, without any condemnation or judgment. God's free gift to humanity is – The Age of Divine Grace which makes it possible for us to be freely and eternally reconciled to Him, and to become a part of His new creation.

God desires for you to become "one flesh" – at the altar and in the spirit realm. Satan can't bear the thought of it. This is where your perseverance plays a huge part.

The enemy will mercilessly bombard you with thoughts, feelings, emotions and physical disdain for your mate. You must take every thought captive (II Corinthians 10:5) and stop looking at your mate as the enemy. Don't let his actions and words provoke you into disobedience.

Paul writes in Ephesians 4:29, "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for building up, that it may impart grace to the hearers." Matthew 18:9 states, "and if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you." So it goes with your tongue.

Stop committing spiritual murder against your mate! Bite it off and cast it away! Don't sin by grieving God as you curse the very person God wills to join you to, as ONE!

Don’t Forget Daddy by Theresa Franklin is a delightful book to read to any young child experiencing change in the family dynamics whether it is through divorce, remarriage or the death of a parent, especially in respect to loss of a father.

Author Theresa Franklin, writes with heartfelt compassion by addressing these delicate subjects in a creative way that will help identify any feelings that a child may be holding on to in their emotions. By opening up the lines of communication, this book will allow a child going through similar circumstances to be able to share their feelings. This book offers wonderful solutions to any young child on how to cope with the change in the family.

The short story opens with Ashley, a young child, sitting and conversing with a man who has become mommy’s friend. She likes him, but does not know how to feel about him because she doesn’t want to forget her daddy. With colorful illustrations and an easy to read dialogue your child will be able to understand this book as Ashley accepts her new daddy, and her new life with wonderful excitement. We find out through the book that change is okay and can be a good thing for all the parties involved.

With the divorce rate being close to 50 percent these days, many young children have to adapt to the loss of a parent and/or a new stepparent. Change is not easy, especially when you don’t understand why it is happening. To a child this can be devastating and as parents it is imperative that these issues are addressed along with any feelings a child might have towards the change in the family dynamics. This book will help you do just that in a loving and compassionate way.

Don’t forget Daddy is also a recommended book for parents or physiologists that want to open the dialogue between parent and child. This book can be used as a tool for parents or professionals to address a child’s feelings whatever they may be towards the change in the family dynamics. It would be a perfect book for the mother who is remarrying with young children. What a maze it can be for a author looking for expanded online marketing with regards to their author's site and new book releases. Of course you can run around joining every authors site out there and feel like your a part of the group, but does that produce book sales? Rarely.

I just spent the last 3 -4 hours searching book marketing sites looking at marketing prices. I was in shock to some of the prices that I found. From $25.00 for a small banner for one month on sites that were not even yet ranked to $400.00 just to build a one page authors page.

Then as I searched further, I found additional sites charging even more money to market a author and his book. Actually it's not some of the prices that burdened me. It was the terrible layouts, graphics, images, font choices and just the unprofessional designs. First impressions make a HUGE difference, and I was not impressed at much of what I viewed.

Authors beware. Just because you come by a site that has other authors listed, doesn't mean that you should jump on board. Take your time, do some research and look around before you buy the cow. Otherwise you may not get any milk.

We are a team of published author's and co authors looking for unpublished authors that would like to be part of a new book project. We handle cover design and layout, all manuscript preparation, editing, manuscript submission and already have a publisher.

The Project: 25 short stories that encourage and offer hope. That means up to 25 co authors or one co author can write multiple stories.
